"Haitians Live for News"

Published in "Embodying Peripheries" [Firenze University Press]

In 2017, I interviewed three professionals in NYC's Haitian radio community as part of my undergraduate research. This essay uses those interviews and other readings to explore the role of Haitian radio in community-building, activism, and citizenship for Haitians who arrived in the U.S. in the 1980s.
